Ista Info
The weyr is located on tropical Ista Island, south of the northern continent and north of the southern. It's the smallest of all the weyrs and home to a diverse and interesting array of characters. With the interval in full swing the area is searching for ways to survive and increase its own wealth at the same time. And with two taverns (one serving as a house of ill-repute) and a market open to traders from the local areas and certain arrangements with free-lancing agents of the sea, Ista is bursting with opportunities to create exciting character concepts.

Some character concepts!
At Ista you're encouraged to create your own original characters, but if you're stuck and can't think of anything, we do have a few ideas!
1) A trader who has come to sell their wares at the market. They can either be a good guy or someone with a more seedy history, one looking to do a little swindling and perhaps some dealing as well.
2) In general bad guys who are looking to take advantage of the mounting back-door dealing going on with the Weyr and the beholden areas.
3) In general good guys who don't like the way the weyr is going in the face of the interval and are unhappy with the current leadership's direction.
4) Holders from Ista Hold or other outlying minor holds that have been affected by the recent influx of good wares from an unidentifiable source. The affect to their home area could be good or bad. Perhaps they've benefited from this or perhaps it's negatively affected their own trade.
5) Black market agents or people interested in playing agents that are further up along the food chain in the loosely organized group.
6) Characters from Big Bay Hold, either blooded or just regular joes. Anyone who might be interested in causing mischief and saying that's their character's area of origin.
